These are so easy to make and where apart of our Zoo week
What you need:
Paper plates
Yellow paint
yellow and orange paper
googly eyes
glue
black felt tip
First get your little ones to paint the paper plate yellow. Then once it's dry cut out strips of yellow and orange paper and glue around the edge of the plate for the lion's mane.
Stick some googly eyes on and draw a nose and mouth
We also made some paper plate crocodiles.
uses white paper cut into triangles for the teeth

These would also be good for making into a mask. Instead of using googly eyes, cut some circles out and fasten on some elastic or ribbon to tie around the head. You could then get you little ones to pretend that their in the zoo and make the animal sounds
