As my little boy is now getting older I think it's about time he helped out more around the house. So I made him this little chore chart
To make one yourself is really easy.
I just used scrap paper and glued them onto pegs and a toilet roll.
I then hot glued the pegs and toilet roll onto some thick red card.
Stuck his name on and stapled a small bag near the bottom corner. I printed out a list of chores and glued them onto some nice patterned scrap paper and placed them in the toilet roll. When I want him to do a certain chore I clip it onto one of the pegs.
When he has completed the chore he simply removes it from the peg and places it into the bag. Then I put the chore cards he has done back into the toilet roll holder and replace them with some reward points
I made the reward points a while ago see this post here. He can use his reward points to buy something from the prize box. The prize box is a box with small toys, books and sweets that I have brought and each item as different coloured sticker on and each sticker is worth a certain amount of reward points. I will do a post about the prize box next week.
