Happy Monday Everyone! This is Kimberly from My Pinterest Reality. I'm so excited about the opportunity Natasha has given me to be a contributor here on Serenity You. Since I'll be around for awhile, I thought it would be best for us to get acquainted.
Here it goes....
I'm a product developer who's put her career on hold to be a stay-at-home mom of 2 busy girls. When I first started to stay-at-home, I thought my life had become changing diapers, being a short order cook and never...NEVER getting to shower! I felt all my creativity slipping through my fingers. I've always loved creating through crafting, photography, cooking and DIYing (is that a word?) but noticed I was doing it less and less until Pinterest.
I literally started to become slightly (okay really) obsessed with Pinterest. I found I was pinning new ideas everyday but not doing anything with the 'pins'. That's when I decided to make the 'pins' I loved a reality.
I try (better weeks than others) to accomplish one of my 'pins' from Pinterest a day and blog about how I made it. The 'pins' are usually recipes, educational tools for my girls, photography tips, or a craft/DIY. Although I still wear sweats most days and shower every other, I've proven it's possible to be a stay-at-home mom who still her creative edge.
I'm so excited to be able to share the 'pins' I make with you.
Before I run, I'll leave you with a couple of my favorites.
