Hey everyone! This is Dani (or Danielle, if you'd rather) from over at Busy Mom's Helper! I can't tell you how stoked I am to be a contributor for Serenity You! Thanks so much, Natasha, for this opportunity to share with amazing readers like you all!
Since it's no fun being gabbed to by a total stranger, I'd love to tell you just a bit about myself. First of all, I have four kids: daughter age 6, TWIN 2-year-old (almost 3) BOYS, and another boy just about 16 months. Whenever I mention I have twins, people always ask 'wow, is your house pretty noisy?' Just to ease your curiosity, yes my house is VERY noisy, but it would be even if I only had one boy! Twins doesn't necessarily make it twice as hard, just a bit. It's quite an adventure, though, and I truly love seeing the special bond those two brothers have with each other.
My house is INSANE! Not to mention NEVER CLEAN. I use to try to clean up after the kids to some extent, but I've moved on. Some battles just cannot be won. So other than a nightly clean-up time, there are always toys, shoes, sometimes one of their outfits (yes, from their body as they streak through the house) all over the floor. Oh, and let's not even start with the mess my amazingly sexy yet not-so-clean hubby leaves all over! I also work full-time as a marketer for a company called All About Socks. Guess what they sell.....yes, socks. Good job, you get a gold star!
Ya know what, though? I love this chaos I call life! I also love sharing it with others, as I've come to love learning from other mom's as well! Between all of the work, grocery shopping, diapers (yes, my three youngest are still in diapers...but not for long!), homework, baths and stories, I love having an outlet. To be able to craft, cook, and just simply share.
So that's quite a broad little spill about myself, but I'm sure to share more little bits from my nut-house over time here at Serenity You. In the meantime, here's some of my favorite posts I've done:
